Bank of America Chicago Marathon 2008

No, we're not asking you to settle yourself down for a night of razzle-dazzle! Instead of watching the musical, you could experience the sights and sounds of Chicago first hand as you run through the various districts which combine to make up this diverse city.

Why run in Chicago?

Runners from all 50 US states and over 120 countries will be gathering together on 12th October 2008, and you could be joining them! Another flat, fast course, the Bank of America Chicago Marathon is one of the World Marathon Majors attracting elite athletes as well as amateurs.

Starting with a stunning view of the Chicago skyline from Grant Park, some of the sights you will take in include the historic Chicago Theater, Lincoln Park, Wrigley Field (home to the Chicago Cubs) and the University of Illinois. Not only that, but crowds line the streets for the entire route, cheering, waving flags and ringing cowbells to help create an incredible atmosphere for you to run in.
