Warm up! Warm Up!

Ok, training is vital. Any trip will be far more enjoyable if you increase your fitness levels. But you must ALWAYS remember to warm up before any physical activity. We can do this together - just download my Daley Warm Up podcast here.

Daley says - be prepared

Try putting your rucksack on while you train. You can put some bottles of water inside it to help you prepare for your actual challenge. This is a good way to break in your kit.

Do a Local Challenge to show you believe in children

You really don't have to go far to help vulnerable children in the UK. My friends at Barnardo's have put on some fantastic local challenges that the whole family can get involved in. They are graded according to difficulty with 1 being the easiest.

And what's great is that there's no such thing as ‘over the top'. If you want to dress as a banana or a chicken - all the better.

Remember, the idea is to have fun, fun, fun and raise funds, funds, funds!
